Trading Tools Videos

[HQ |  Reps-Public]

Until these tools are perfected, every day the Representatives need to listen to the Delta Trading Tools instruction videos and contribute - AS A GROUP - to this document.

  • Dr Vance has given this document a great start.

  • The daily scribe will be doing the editing to this document while the group creates the content.

  • Sales managers decide what may need to be added to this document.

DTG TOOLS - 1. Overview

The following Delta Trading Group tools needs to have a foundational understand:

  • The recipient of the training of these tools needs to have at least seen the Live Trading Sessions, or a preparatory presentation to understand the basic principles upon which we build.
  • We need a training view of a presentation, probably no more than 20 minutes to give basic understanding of the principles we talk about when demonstrating these tools.

The Agenda

The Agenda used in the LTS Sessions is a great resource as well.

Trading Tool Major Points

These tools are meant to get the members engaged, participating, and thinking. They are not meant as unilateral lecture by a rep or trainer to the member.

  • Many things make DTG a success
  • Understanding federal compliance, customer expectations and goals are important.
  • Each of these tool are meant to give the members a perspective on very specific principles of trading and our group:
    • 1. 100% Transparency.
    • 2. Planning the work and working the plan is key.
    • 3. The business of being accountable is key.
    • 4. Consistency creates the foundation.
    • 5. Compounding contracts, thus return on investment is crucial in maintaining consistency and trading discipline.
  • These tools are NOT meant to show a member pie in the sky promises.

DTG TOOLS - 2. Moderator Performance

Purpose

  • Demonstrate at less than a 50% Win Rate you can be highly profitable.

  • Demonstrate consistency.

  • Demonstrate win and loss distributions.

  • Stay within in Federal, State, and local compliance regulations by pinning 100% facts about expectations and break even analysis

Not Purpose

  • Out of compliance promises

  • Promises of performance.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Trading is a long-term commitment.

  • If you don’t meet your goals right away, you will probably want to keep learning.

  • Trading is not about winning trades, it is about managing risk and reward to make money.

RISK MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY TO ANY BUSINESS.

Explain G4S3 Reward / Risk

1C * ($50.00) * 1 pt = $50.00

1C * ($50.00) * 4 pt gain = $200.00

1C * ($50.00) * -3 pt gain = -$150.00

  • Candidate ?”  10C with a 4 pt Gain = ???

  • Candidate ?”  10C with a -3 pt Stop = ???

Dr Vance Break-Even Formula: v(G) + [-S(100-v)] = 0

Solve for V = Break Even Point

To Calculate Break Even on Points Reward/Risk:

Replace G (Gain) with target G points,

Replace S (Loss) with target S points

To Calculate Break-Even After Commission:

Replace G with the net gain after commission

Replace S with net loss after commission.

EFFICACY OF CURRENT TRACK RECORD

Purpose

  1. Test the efficacy, validity, and predictability of our Current Moderator Track Record to predictive results of a random generator.
  2. Reset the client expectations to under promise - over deliver. Still most incredible thing available.

Locations

Training Video

Steps

  1. EXPECTATIONS: CLIENT EXPECTATIONS.
  2. COMPARATIVE DATA: SHOW CURRENT RESULTS WITH COMPARATIVE DATA.
  3. TEST PREDICTIONS AND SHOW HOW THE PREDICTIONS MATCH THE CURRENT RESULTS.
  4. REVISIT GOALS: SEE HOW CLIENT GOALS ARE MET THROUGH THE TRACK RECORD AND GENERATOR.
  5. PLAY: GET THE CLIENT TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE TOOL SO THEY CAN DREAM OF THE POSSIBILITIES AND SET REALISTIC GOALS.

1. EXPECTATIONS

Must establish nomenclature so you can later compare apples to apples.

  • What do you want to accomplish with trading.
    • You must use this to establish DollarsROI, and Timeframes.
    • Jim: Quasi-retired, not hugh need, build house, SS
    • Invested before? Stocks, Money market,
  • What do you consider a great return on investment (ARIO)? ____
    • EX: 25% Return Annually (100K * 0.25 = 25,000)
      • 70-8os- At Least 20% AROI  (RE 10%)
    • Put ROI in perspective investment class PRN.
  • How many hour a week are you willing to work to get this result. _____
    • EX: 20 Hours a week.
    • 15 hrs.

2. COMPARATIVE DATA

  • Track Records Starts: 5/26/2022
  • Track Record Current: 3/29/2023
  • TT: 534, Win, 266, WIN% 49.81, NET 262 ROI:.08

LETS RUN SOME NUMBERS

  • How many weeks have we been trading?:
    • TOTAL: 44    (31 + 13)
      • 2022=  31 (52 - 21)
      • 2023 =  13
  • How many trades have we averaged per week:
    • 12.13Trades Per week
  • How many hours a week
    • 10 (2 pr day)
  • How many trades per hour?
    • 1.213
    • Lets call it 1.
  • Your goals and expectation were met with our track record, would you have just quit when you reached your ______%.

LOOK AT PROGRESSION

  • Trades need to breathe.
  • Account needs to breathe.
  • Different starting places represents different market spoons (conditions).

LOOK AT SCALING

  • How many trades did it take to get to 2 Contracts Stable?
    • 175
  • How many trades did it take to get to 3 Contracts Stable?
    • 250
  • How many trades did it take to get to10 Contracts Stable?
    • 500

ARE THESE RESULTS REASONABLE AND PREDICTIVE?

3. TEST PREDICTIONS IN GENERATOR

  • Examine Scaling in the generator to see if the predictions swarm the actual track record. THIS DEMONSTRATES Efficacy! The generator predicts the results we have achieved.

TEST on 49.8% or 50%

2C = 168

3C = 253

10c = 436

4. REVISIT GOALS

5. PLAY

DTG TOOLS - 3. Roadmap to Success

There is a degree of controversy about Albert Einstein’s exact quotes over the years concerning finance, but it seems to be a great urban legends that When asked to name the greatest invention in human history, Albert Einstein simply replied “compound interest.”

The Road Map and the subsequent Delta Tools demonstrate how to compound contracts, thus compound long-term returns but not doing the following:

  1. By NOT increasing the number of trades you need to take.

  2. By NOT letting your gains run and cutting your losses short.

    1. Not increasing your targets (increasing your risk)

    2. Not reducing your stops (increasing your risk).

  3. By NOT increasing your wining percentages.

TO MAKE MORE MONEY

KEEP YOUR PERFORMANCE THE SAME AND INCREASE YOUR CONTRACTS.

Your objectives:

  1.  Build consistency.

  2.  Make only 5 to 10 points a week.

  3.  Trade 1 Contract for Every 3,000 in Account.

Remember: Net Trade Profit  =  Contracts $ 50 Net Points
